His career is defined by a commitment to the 'human element' of business. Omari specializes in advising boards and C-suite executives on navigating high-stakes transitions, fostering inclusive leadership, and building high-trust environments that drive sustainable growth.
He serves as President & CEO of the National African American Insurance Association, one of the nation’s fastest-growing professional associations, where he leads organizational strategy, board governance, research, and national programming across a growing network of chapters.
His broader practice spans executive advising, leadership development, board governance, and strategic facilitation. He brings nearly two decades of experience working inside and alongside major corporations, national nonprofits, and mission-driven institutions.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology, where he was a Howard Thurman Fellow, and a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University. He is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and serves in board and community leadership roles across education, mentorship, and civic life.
